Revamped the look and feel of Banded Peak’s website with a stronger brand impression and improved aesthetics.

Ask

After Labatt Brewery acquired Banded Peak, they decided to revamp their website to align with their tagline 'Adventurous beer for adventurous people. They aimed for an immersive and bold website that conveyed an outdoorsy, lifestyle-oriented brand with a lively and active feel, all without seeming pretentious. Apart from the visual refresh, they required blog templates, an updated e-commerce system, and a beer finder page

problem

  • Outdated design that no longer represents the brand
  • Users have trouble finding different types of beers apart from the 'our taproom' page
  • No 'about' section
  • Pages scroll too long with too and overwhelming amount of information on each
  • Vague information about on their 'Taproom' page other than hours and location

solution

  • Provide concepts for a new website narrative
  • Show an immersive experience with animations
  • Showcase all of the many beer flavours present
  • Strengthen the brand story with an 'about' page
  • Highlight background on the brewery and company
  • Upgrade necessary pages (Taproom, contact, menu, etc.)
